Meet Jiabei!

Growing up in Shanghai, and now residing in the Bay Area, Jiabei Wang is a designer specializing in promotional, branding, and web design. She is currently attending California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, where she is majoring in art and design. Jiabei has been commissioned to design various projects both on and off campus, helping small businesses and other organizations craft meaningful visuals that are intentional and approachable. Before coming to Cal Poly, Jiabei took part in designing promotional graphics as well as other materials for her community back home.

As a Chinese American, Jiabei embraces both of her cultures in her creative practices. From designing for Lunar New Year events to window painting for cultural holidays, she aims to celebrate her Chinese heritage in her works whenever she gets the chance.

Outside of designing, Jiabei runs a small art business selling crocheted goods and other handmade crafts. Her love for traveling, collecting postcards, and purchasing mugs all celebrate her love for design. You can find her contacts below or reach her by filling out the contact form!
